ZX-UNO is an FPGA-based ZX Spectrum clone project that just finished its crowdfunding campaign on Verkami. Due to its success the campaign ended earlier, surpassing the 16,000 euros goal.
The interesting aspect of the project is that it is open not only clone a ZX Spectrum. The board is a complete development platform that due to the nature of the FPGA, more 8-bit machines could be added in the future. The hardware and software are open, so it can also be perfect for students and research.
